Hi Girls,
I just need to get this out.
So DH and I bought a house back in February. It had been vacant for years, pipes had frozen, flooded, caused mold, and then the bank had torn out all of the finishes to remove the mold (Floors, Drywall, kitchen, bathrooms... everything, even the insulation.) So DH and I have been killing ourselves trying to rebuild this shell of a house. We finally got to a point that I thought I could see light at the end of the tunnel. We just needed our new furnace hooked up to the propane lines inside so that we could get the propane tanks delivered. We called the propane company to deliver the tanks 6 weeks ago, and tomorrow was the absolute first appointment they had available. Our furnace guy hired a plumber to do the pipe work over 3 weeks ago. The pipe work he needed to do was not even fully a days work.
It's still not done, and it's not inspected. And they can't deliver the tanks unless the inside pipes have been finished and inspected.
So that means bye bye chances of heat. Bye bye appointment to have the drywall put up (since you can't mud if it's cold). We can't do the floors, or anything, literally anything before we get the heat running. And it'll be about 6 more weeks until they can get us a new tank delivery date. So really it means Bye Bye to any dreams I had of being in the house before Christmas.
I'm so freaking crushed right now I can't even see straight. This was the one glimmer of good in my world, and it's gone.
Oh, and I just looked at the department of licensure, and the asshat lost his license in January of 2010. Seems like something the furnace guy should have checked before he freaking hired him. I seriously just feel like giving up

Diagnosed w/ endometriosis 12/2010 Laproscopic surgery & 6 months of Lupron
BFP 12/17/2011,EDD 8/23/12,ectopic discovered 12/29/11 at 6 weeks recieved methotrexate
Dec '12 HSG & ultrasound showed abnormalities & more endo. Laproscopic surgery in January '13 showed significant damage & scar tissue from Endo. IVF is our best shot to concieve our rainbow.
June '13 Decided to go the adoption route!

Yayyyyy! I would've been freaking pissed, and that plumber should probably be eating a lot of the cost of what's left on the gas lines. He should know better than to hire someone that isn't licensed. Yay for finding a silver lining and not giving up though!
