Share your Favorite Holiday Books

So, we're starting to take inventory of things we've already picked up for Ellie's b-day and Christmas and seeing what we still want to get.  We plan to do a new holiday book and jammies each Christmas Eve, so I'm looking for ideas - especially traditions we don't know much about!

My favs right now are the Christmas Miracle of Jonathon Toomey (I dare you to read it and not cry!) and the Night Before Christmas illustrated by Jan Brett.

Re: Share your Favorite Holiday Books

  • How the Grinch Stole Christmas. One of my favorites.
  • I'm a sucker for classic Rudolph!

  • 'Twas the Night Before Christmas (we have DH's from his childhood and I'm getting the pop-up version at some point)
    How the Grinch Stole Christmas
The Polar Express (I'll get that when DD is a bit older)
    The Best Christmas Pageant Ever
    Santa Mouse
    Merry Christmas, Little Critter
The Spirit of Christmas (I'm getting that one this year)

I know there is a new Olivia (Olivia Claus) coming out as well as a holiday Llama Llama.  I was not that impressed with the Fancy Nancy Christmas one.
