Really old grandads names!
Hi I'm 24 weeks pregnant with a blue bump and would love a really old fashioned unpopular name.

Mine are Brian and Victor which I don't think are too old manish, but some other ideas are Walter, Arthur, Archie, Harvey, Stanley, Oscar, Abraham, Eugene.

my grandfathers were George and Dominic
my kids' grandfathers are Joseph and Clifford
Mine are Joe (just Joe but I would suggest Joseph) and Gerald "Jerry". DH's are William and Orville. My great grandfathers were Hugh and Royal "Pete." DH's great grandfather was Delphia Claude, great-great was Benjamin Newton (sorry only remember from one line).
DS is Theodore and I love most of them from MJ's list. Do check the SSA popularity list though because you'll be surprised at how many of the old fashioned names are making a come back.

I like a lot of the names that have been suggested here. I especially like Edwin and Gerard. Henry is a good one, but that depends on whether or not you would be willing to give your kid a popular name. Henry is getting really popular.
My grandpas' names are Russell Wayne and John Wesley. My husband's grandpas' names are James and Duval. My grandpa Wayne has several brothers too. Their names are Donald, Ronald, Arville (I don't know where his parents got that name), Norman, and Gordon. My grandma's brothers' names are Lawrence and Farrell (but his first name is Laymon).
