What should my diapers be smelling like?

I just started using my CD this week and I've done two loads and they don't smell bad but they don't necessarily smell good either.  I'm using the Rockin Green detergent...I would say it's the diapers since a lot of them are used but the new ones and prefolds also have a distinct smell...I'm doing a cold cycle, a hot cycle with two cold rinses.

    IMO they should smell like nothing.  In order to get the slight funk out of my diapers I have to let them soak before the wash cycle.  I do a cold rinse, then fill the machine with hot water and det and let soak for an hour, then cold rinse.

    I think they are okay...they don't smell funky just weird...which could just be the detergent, water, or smell of the cloth...

    I use dreft on the rest of my clothes so I'm used to scent which may be my issue.  (or my smeller's off from being pregnant!!)

    My diapers had a slight smell w/ Tide.  After switching to Tiny Bubbles, there is no smell at all.

    Mine honestly smell like nothing. If they had a strong smell I'd be worried about build up.
