Transition from RNP to Crib

I know this has been talked about a gazillion times but at what age are you planning on starting to transition LO from their RNP to their crib? I keep trying to start her off in her crib and the few times I've successfully gotten her to sleep she has only slept for 30 minutes to an hour. I've got her mattress on a slight incline to help, roll up towels on either side of her to make her feel snug, and swaddle her.

    I have been trying to do this for awhile.   DS will sleep the first leg of the night in his crib when I put him in there...but after the first night feeding, he'll only go back down in there for maybe an hour.   I'm kinda hoping daycare will help get him used to the crib.

     Good point about daycare helping with the transition. There is one upside to the near fortune we pay them.

    I try to put her down for naps occasionally in the crib but so far she has only stayed asleep in there for about 20 minutes. I haven't been very consistent with putting her in there so I am thinking I need to start putting her in there every time she naps. Right now its usually the bouncer, the swing, or in my arms. I don't plan to have her sleeping in the crib at night until around 3 months but I figure we better get her used to it now.

    With DS1, I didn't transition him until he was 3 or 4 months. I started off with naps since he slept in the swing everyday. We had no issues. It will be a little tougher with DS2 since he will have to share rooms with his brother. He sleeps in the RNP in our room but sometimes takes naps in the pnp in the living room.
