I know that I need to get my flu shot while pregnant. I did with DD because we were going to be traveling up north at Christmas. I am pregnant again and this is our year to visit DH's family up north for Christmas. DD is allergic to eggs. I know that it is ridiculous, but the thought often goes through my mind that my flu shot caused her egg allergy.
Someone just please tell me that it is not possible and just because I get one doesn't mean that new baby will. Or is it possible?

This is good to know! I am pushing for DD to get one soon, but our pedi and allergist are not wanting to do it.
I have never gotten the flu shot in my life - not while pregnant or otherwise.
DS does not have an egg allergy. DD does have an egg allergy.
