sleepwear

Hi there - I'm looking for footed pajamas for my 17-month old that have a snap front, not zipper.  Also looking for cozy, knee high socks with non-slip bottoms.  both seem amazingly hard to find!!  Any suggestions?

  • I found knee socks at target last year not sure if they still sell them. No help on the pj's though any particular reason you want snap front instead of zipper?

  • I'd like footed PJs because our house runs cold, she crawls out of the blankets during the night and the socks I have seem to slip off. I'm content to leave her without a blanket for now if I can just be assured that her little ankles and feet are covered.

I'd like the snap front instead of zipper for two reasons - first is related to the cold house issue in that I end up exposing her whole little body to the cold air in order to change a diaper and second, because my partner and I have the hardest time getting baby's leg into the PJ leg that doesn't have the zipper.  I don't know what we're doing wrong but we have to hike her knee up so far to get the foot into the PJ leg that it feels like we're going to dislocate her hip!  I'm sure we could come up with some other arrangement to get the PJs on, but I gotta tell ya - 2am diaper changes are not the time for creative thinking and the snap front are just so much easier.
