  I got the book with one CD at Barnes and Noble.  I also took the class.  The breathing and positive affirmations were the most useful to me.  The breathing is well explained in the book.  I can't remember if the positive affirmations came with the book or not (I took the class as well.)  The most useful part of the class was the last day, when we had a couple come in and talk about their hypnobirthing experience.  You can hear a lot of those stories on the Natural Birth board.  If you want to hear my story, let me know.

  Check out the Natural Birth board. Once in a while people are selling theirs on there but at the very least they'll have some recommendations. 

   

  I didn't use any one method but took a general birth education class geared toward med-free births. It touched on many different methods and I thought it was invaluable.

  I was able to buy an older version of Hypnobabies home study course for $50 on diaper swappers.com marketplace. The written info was from 2006, but everything worked great and I had an awesome birth. I see them for sale a lot on the natural birth board and also listed at the Hypnosis for Childbirth forum on BabyCenter. I highly recommend that particular forum, not only to find deals on hypnobirthing supplies, but because there are a lot of experienced hypnomamas and hypnobirthing instructors there who offer excellent advice. It helped me so much with my training and preparation for a hypnobirth.
