In need of advice...

I am not sure if i am pregnant or not...

I track everything on my phone as for ovulation and when my periods are etc.my last full period was aug 25th29th then i proceeded to do the baby dance sorry if tmi! every day until my next "period" which was light bleeding from sept 17th19th which was a very odd period for me because i have 30 day cycles....then now i was supposed to get my period yesterday but i have not gotten it yet. Im wondering if the light bleeding was implantation? Is it too early to get a positive pregnancy test? Also im not sure if its the flu...or moening sickness but i have been extremely tired and hungry but i throw up lots of what i eat...

Anyway i hope maybe i can get some guidence on what to expect or what to do...

Take a pregnancy test. Take one once a week until you get a positive or go 60 days without a period, and in that case, call your doctor.

1 People here are pregnant. We can handle the fact that people have sex to have babies; it's nowhere near TMI.

2 If you want to know anything about your body, start charting. Phone apps are garbage; they are merely estimating when you will ovulate base on a standard cycle. If you want to know about YOUR cycle, go to fertilityfriend.com and start temping.

3 No one's cycle is the same every single month. No one's. If you usually have a 30 day cycle, 24 days is not that strange. You most likely ovulated sooner last month, thus got your period sooner. You also don't know if your period is due tomorrow if you don't know when you ovulated. When I was charting to try for this pregnancy, my cycle was 31 days, then 29, the 26, then 24, then 29. It happens.

4 It's totally possible that you're pregnant if you had unprotected sex last month. But no one here can tell you that. If your barfing is from a pregnancy, then a pregnancy test would absolutely come up positive. Pregnancy symptoms are cause by hcg; pregnancy tests detect hcg. It's genius.

If your period is late then it is time to take a test. It is the only way to know if you are pregnant or not.

test!! i took mine the day of expected period and got a positive, although extremely faint. took another the next morning and it was already darker.

I really hope she's not regnant yet so she can get a little education on pregnancy first. Especially if she is trying to plan this. The most basic step.... Take a test

Um she asked for advise on how to figure out if she's pregnant. If you can't figure out that what you should do is take a test then that scares me. Sorry but that's completely honest

Wow, this is special. Way to resort to name calling. We should be ashamed of ourselves for knowing about our bodies before getting pregnant, and recommending others do the same? Who was rude? As far as I can tell, people gave blunt advice, but good advice. What would you have preferred, a bunch of uneducated dimwits saying, "omg it was probably implantation yayyy for you!" Not going to happen here. People here tend to be informed and don't shy away from sharing their knowledge with others. If you prefer babycenter and all the lovely idiocy that runs rampant there along with the puppies and rainbows, then have fun posting there and stop reading posts here.

I don't usually waste my time writing a damn long response to a post for the sake of rudeness. My response was genuine, and if OP takes my advice, she'll be much better off.

Our comments were honest. I'm all about blunt honesty. Having a baby is VERY serious. I have spent a lot of time and money attempting to get pregnant. If you want to bring a baby into this world the least you can do is a little research to get a grasp on the very basics. Being prepared never hurt anyone
