I knew it!! I am not an idoit who can't work a carseat!!!!

DS's carseat has been driving me crazy of late.  Out of the seat you can adjust the straps, in the seat you can't.  It's super annoying.  Then I noticed that his straps seemed abnormally tight if we were in the car for a long period of time.  The last time we drove to Toronto by the time we got there his shoulders had marks on them from how tight the straps were.  I thought that maybe it was due to full diaper causing pressure on the straps so I adjusted the crotch piece so that it wouldn't happen again.  No such luck.  On the way home, same problem.  So I called the company today and after being in holding hell for an hour I finally spoke to someone.  The whole can't tighten the straps thing is specific to our model and it's actually something that should be in the manual but isn't it's an easy fix.  The straps getting tighter thing is that the seat is faulty and they are sending me a new seat.  I should have it next week until then the seat is not unsafe just uncomfortable. We can live with that.
