Genie bra

I was skeptical about these at first, but after giving H's Grandma her flu shot last night while she told me all about her Genie bra, I decided to buy one. I'm so glad I did!! No more underwire digging into my skin and no more tight band. It's also good at covering up my pregnancy-induced back fat. I'm so happy! I also figured it would grow with me. I know I don't want to be buying a million bras during pregnancy.

Re: Genie bra

  • I bought a two pack at about week 5 and wore them 24/7 for over a month cause my boobs were so sore. I will warn you that mine don't seem to have the original lift they did but I still wear them around the house and at night. I finally invested in larger cute bras for work and social wear.

I am a infomercial whore and have been wanting one forever.  Does it really makes your girls look all perfect and perky?  How high does it come up?

They have them at Target.  You can try them on before buying.  I love my Genie bra!

  • They don't make my boobs all perky, but they are SO comfortable and I'm just thankful that my back fat is covered lol!!

NO WAY??!!!  I have had the worst day and you just made the sun shine!

YuP Target Walmart and CVS all carry them in the as seen on TV section.

They are basically a sports bra cut but not as tight and "smooshing". I still love mine but with form fitting shirts I feel like the girls looks saggy. I should add I'm a 38D prepreg saggy might not be an issue with smaller cup sizes

They have them at Wal-Mart too... I think a two pack is like 19.99 or something. I've been thinking about getting it.... but I always fall for those things and they never work out for me.

I am really interested in those sweat pants that look like jeans.... Our administrative assistant wears them and they look like jeans!

  • I LOVE my Genie bras. I have four of them. I got the first two at Bed Bath and Beyond and the second two at Target.

  • They would not give good support if you have big boobs.

  • All I can think is "I'm a genie in a braaaa, baby, gotta rub me the right way..." Just wanted to share that random.
  • I've heard they run small, can I ask what size you ladies normally wear in a "traditional" bra and what size you have in the Genie bra?  I have been wanting to order some.

I bought based on the Size chart on the box and had no trouble. I don't know what size I got now and it faded off the band. But I do know I bought what the box told me too lol.

  • I ordered a 6-pack off TV when I was KU with #1. They are not the "miracles" that the infomercial claims. They are, however, SUPER comfy and great for overnight, around the house, errands, etc.

I'm a 36DD and do not feel that I am "super" supported. I wouldn't work out in them, but for around the house they are perfect. If you were smaller chested, they would probably provide enough support.

Plus, they DO grow with you a little so some adjustment while pregnant won't affect your comfort in these bras. Having had mine for awhile and washed them numerous times, they don't hold up forever, but they're not too bad.

Lastly, I got the padding inserts. Get them. They give your girls more "structure" that is still comfy andplusalso, pregnancy will make your nips cray-cray.

  • WOW! I'm glad you had a good experience. My mother in law did not at all! She ordered a 4x because shes a big big woman and when they arrived they were tiny. At that size I think a small would fit an infant! They barely fit me and I'm usually a 38D. they would be comfortable if I could fit into them but being as though I am already a DD there is no hope for that. Stick out tongue

If the 4x didn't fit you then I think it was a mislabel or something.   I was a 36D prepregnacy and around week 5 bought the large and they fit fine then and still fit fine now.
