I was skeptical about these at first, but after giving H's Grandma her flu shot last night while she told me all about her Genie bra, I decided to buy one. I'm so glad I did!! No more underwire digging into my skin and no more tight band. It's also good at covering up my pregnancy-induced back fat. I'm so happy! I also figured it would grow with me. I know I don't want to be buying a million bras during pregnancy.
Re: Genie bra
They have them at Target. You can try them on before buying. I love my Genie bra!
YuP Target Walmart and CVS all carry them in the as seen on TV section.
They are basically a sports bra cut but not as tight and "smooshing". I still love mine but with form fitting shirts I feel like the girls looks saggy. I should add I'm a 38D prepreg saggy might not be an issue with smaller cup sizes
They have them at Wal-Mart too... I think a two pack is like 19.99 or something. I've been thinking about getting it.... but I always fall for those things and they never work out for me.
I am really interested in those sweat pants that look like jeans.... Our administrative assistant wears them and they look like jeans!
Over-40 parents...what we lack in vigor, we make up for with cunning.
I bought based on the Size chart on the box and had no trouble. I don't know what size I got now and it faded off the band. But I do know I bought what the box told me too lol.
I ordered a 6-pack off TV when I was KU with #1. They are not the "miracles" that the infomercial claims. They are, however, SUPER comfy and great for overnight, around the house, errands, etc.
I'm a 36DD and do not feel that I am "super" supported. I wouldn't work out in them, but for around the house they are perfect. If you were smaller chested, they would probably provide enough support.
Plus, they DO grow with you a little so some adjustment while pregnant won't affect your comfort in these bras. Having had mine for awhile and washed them numerous times, they don't hold up forever, but they're not too bad.
Lastly, I got the padding inserts. Get them. They give your girls more "structure" that is still comfy andplusalso, pregnancy will make your nips cray-cray.
WOW! I'm glad you had a good experience. My mother in law did not at all! She ordered a 4x because shes a big big woman and when they arrived they were tiny. At that size I think a small would fit an infant! They barely fit me and I'm usually a 38D. they would be comfortable if I could fit into them but being as though I am already a DD there is no hope for that.
If the 4x didn't fit you then I think it was a mislabel or something. I was a 36D prepregnacy and around week 5 bought the large and they fit fine then and still fit fine now.
