I'm returning to work next week and it just hit me that during work days I will only spend 4-5 awake hours with DD! I never thought of it like this before....now it makes me even sadder to return to work. ;(
I am confident that she will be well taken care of (babysitter), but it just makes me feel like a terrible mother that I won't be able to spend more time with her...
Vent over!
Re: How do you deal??
Everyday will get easier and you find a way to make it work. My DS is 14 months and I'm reevaluating our situation.
You'll see what works best for your family once you get back to work.

I agree it is quality over quantity.
You get more than some though, I am lucky to get 2-3 hrs of awake time with him. But I am interacting with him for every hr I do get.
Exactly. I try to make every waking minute count.
