you have to wait about 5 minutes to delete a thread or a post after you initially make it.then you can do it as you wish. we had a weirdo on one of theboards i go to and i went and deleted basically everything personal.

    Oh, gotcha.  I guess I've only ever tried to delete something right away due to boneheaded lack of proofreading and settled for editing in the end.
