Halloween Costumes

What size are you buying all I can seem to find are the bunting kind, which I am afraid may be too small, or 6-12 months which I wonder will be too big. He is on the larger side he was 15 pounds at three months and he fits into carters 6 months but gymboree 6-12 is too big. TIA

I ordered DS a costume from Carter's (such a limited selection though), which comes in the 3-6 month size that fits him at this point.

I got a costume that was 6-12 months and it fits perfectly (16 pounds right now) I would think 6 months is pushing it for the bunting types. My baby would freak if I put him in that even now

Im at work so I dont have the link, but it's a bat outfit thats just a hood with a cape attached. It's a little snug under his fat cheeks /aww

I found an awesome pumpkin outfit at the thrift store. It's got padding at the bottom to round it out bunting style, but it's actually sized 18 months. My little guy's feet just stick out of the bottom, so it looks like a bunting on him now, but I'm hoping he'll be able to wear it again next year.

We're using it in rotation with two other outfits that were gifts. We've decided that the whole month of October is going to be costume month because babies in costumes are just way to cute to fit it all in in one day.

I ordered a size 6-12 months costume from diapers . Com. I couldn't find a smaller size either and they didn't have what I wanted in the bunting type costume. It's a little too big for DS, but it will work.

Thanks everyone. I checked pottery barn kids but most everything is picked over. I am glad to hear 6-12 seems to work and I will be checking a few more places based on this post. Thanks again

Emelia is going to be an elephant! Got it off oldnavy.com. We picked the 3-6 month size. It looks big, but I figured 0-3 would be too small since she's now 4 months old!
