Grrr...kid shoe vent

So, thinking that I'd save some $, I measured C's foot and bought him some Stride Rite's on Babysteals.  He measured a 16, so I bought a 19 (3.5).  Got them today, and the motherfcukers don't fit.  Goddamn it!  Now what the hell am I going to do?!  Already got it on Craigslist.

  • You can also resell on babysteals!

i am awful about returning thing. I usually just have it sit around forever and then save it for the next kid. Haha

  • What?  How do you do that?

  • You sell them on kidcrawl.com. It's their resale website. But the crappy thing is you cannot ask for shipping cost back. Like they pay to have it shipped to them, but you cannot mark up the shoes to cover the shipping you paid to have it sent from babysteals to your house.

  • I am so sorry this happened to you. I generally have been using the Robeez's size guidelines when I order shoes for DS elsewhere (12-18 mos size 4.5-6). My cousin asked what size shoes for DS and I gave her the Robeez sizing. She bought DS some converse sneakers in sz 5 because the converse run large. I just got him some rain boots that are a bit too big but by the time he needs them they will probably fit good with some room to grow. Anyway, I know this doesn't help your current situation but maybe it will work out a bit better for you in the future since this method has been working for us.

  • Thanks Smit.  I'll use that from now on. That's a good idea, since he is wearing 18-24 mo. Robeez right now.   I'll check out the kidcrawl thing too, Elsa-thanks for the heads up :-)
