XP: Recommend your compression hose

The varicose veins are killing me.  I had NONE last time but here they are :(  There is a footless option on amazon (Preggers brand) and I like the idea... but the reviews are mixed.

(I don't know how to make it clicky). I really like these. I think hose would get way to uncomfortable after awhile, and these just take care of my calves and ankles.

  • I buy mine on allheart.com. Am I allowed to say that? I think they have full hose and knee high options. I use knee high every day for work. I have found that 12mmHg-18mmHg is enough. Some people like more/less.

  • It's hard because I think people have really different tastes.  I used toeless ones for travel this summer so I could still wear sandles.  I thought they were ok.  They are all uncomfortable to a point, it really depends on where your veins are.  I like a nice strong compression. Heck to get on, but makes my legs feel great.  I get Jobst brand (expensive but good)  I do knee highs some days and thigh highs others.  Although I'm pretty sure knee highs gave me veins at the back of my knees.  yeck.
