s/o screen time

I would like to limit DS's screen time as much as possible.  DH is of the "it didn't hurt us" camp and my IL's already think my SIL and BIL are crazy for doing it (my niece does not get to watch any TV at all and they don't turn it on when she is in the room.. she's 13 months now) and make comments like "the wiggles don't hurt anymore" (I think they are creepy but that's another topic). I just KNOW they will put him in front of a TV if they watch him and that drives me crazy (they do not respect anything that we tell them... I'm sure they will give him candy as soon as I turn my back too like they do to my nephews)

my biggest concern is getting DH on my side on this. We didn't really discuss it before he was born (we didn't get a chance to discuss a few things because of his surprise entrance to the world) and I'd appreciate if anyone has any good, brief articles that I could send to DH to get my point across. (he will not read a full book on the topic like I would) I admit we watch way too much TV ourselves on the weekends (almost none during the week but we are a big football household) so there will be some exposure but I want him to understand why I want to limit it.
