Carter's exchange

Anyone know the best place to return or exchange carter's clothes? I've been given a lot of carter's clothes in 3mo and NB without recipts and I would like to trade them for bigger stores. Every place I've been will only give me store credit for the lowest price it has been sold for in the last 30 or 90 days. Which ends up being lower then the current price. So I can't even buy the same outfit in a different size Hmm

not sure but maybe buy buy baby? they have great deals with stuff, they even accept coupons and discounts from other stores like BRU. just not sure what they have for exchange. i think it's worth a try.

Have you tried Kohl's? If you just need bigger sizes, I don't see there being a big problem because of the "no hassle" returns assuming they sell the outfit. Maybe see if they have the outfits and take the larger sizes to the return desk with you to try to do an even exchange?

Have you tried Carter's, the actual store? I took back several NB clothes and exchanged for bigger sizes without any issues.

When I realized that Carter's had changed their sizing chart from when I had DD1.0 two years ago, I took back a bunch of the new NB stuff that MIL had bought and exchanged it for 3M and 6M clothing. As long as it was a direct exchange (same outfit, different size), there was no issue with pricing differences.

Kohl's also does the lowest price in the last 60-90 days, so I've had trouble returning stuff to them without receipts. Sometimes I'd only get $1 for an outfit and at that point, I'd rather just donate it. It wasn't worth my gas to drive over there.

Thanks for the help. I think I may try the carters store. It's about an hour drive, but it might be worth it.

I would check online to see which stores have the outfit, especially if you have to drive an hour to an actual carter's store. Carter's outfits sold at walmart are not sold in other stores. I noticed this with a lot of the different Carter's styles. Thankfully most of the stores that sell carters have their outfits listed online. So it might be easier to narrow down where the outfit is from without having to do a bunch of driving.

I also think this is your best bet. I know I did some size exchanges there too! Like pp said, Kohls gives you the cheapest price and sometimes it's so not even worth returning it!
