Should I still be concerned about PPD if I am only depressed away from my LO? I am not just talking sad, but full on anxiety and tears when I leave him at all. Is that still PPD? I never want to go out and will actually find any excuse to stay home. I don't even want to be around my husband ever and get jealous when other people hold my baby. Not sure if any of that is PPD, but I have never experienced that before.

I don't mean to ask too personal a question, so feel free to tell me I'm being a nosey btich, but are you having any side effects from the Zoloft? I'm seeing a therapist and am considering starting Zoloft as well, but I'm super nervous about side effects. And even though I know it's safe for BFing, I'm terrified that it will somehow harm my baby.
And sorry to jack your thread, OP. I would talk to your doctor if I were you. It can't hurt to get a professional's opinion.
Zoloft is fairly well studied but it doesn't come without side effects. I started having hallucinations. It is a pretty uncommon side effect, but don't dismiss the risks, and learn what to expect before you start taking it.
SCANDAL!
