I chose about 50/50. She's getting more "daring" with what she'll try lately so more often, we've been giving her the same thing that we're eating. She actually gets upset and points at what we're eating if it's not the same as what she has.

I put rarely/never because Zoey eats a lot earlier than us. Her bedtime is still at 6pm, so she eats around 4:30-5. That is unless we all go out to eat (which can be quite often so maybe I should change my answer LOL) I'm sure her bedtime will start to get pushed back soon so then she'll eat when we do (6ish).
Usually we have the same, but I'll often make her something extra depending on what we're eating (usually some pasta or mashed potato to round out her meal).
So I must ask, because clearly we're behind on this family dinner concept. Those of you that pretty much only feed what you're eating - when LO won't eat it, and throws it all off the tray, you just take them out of the high chair and let them be cranky and hungry for the rest of the night?
She mostly eats what we eat. (And sitting with us and watching us eat it helps a lot with that!) But on the nights when she just won't have it I usually end up giving her something I know she'll eat like cottage cheese or a pouch or something. IMO she's a little young for "if she doesn't eat with me, she doesn't eat at all!"
Occasionally, we'll have the same thing, but usually it is a feed Stella thing and I'll have more of a dinner after she goes to bed. We do enjoy breakfast together on the weekends (usually a bowl of loaded oatmeal and/or toast/waffles/pancakes and a banana. I need to get better about meals as a whole.

My son is ready to eat about 5:30, and that's when I get home from work. I'm not going to make him wait 30-45 minutes until our food is done. He eats similar things, just not at the same time. If we eat out, he eats off our plates.
I'm all for the family dinner, but with my son's schedule, it just doesn't work right now. We'll have a lot of years to sit around the table and eat together. It just doesn't work at the moment.
She eats whatever we eat for the most part. However, she doesn't always eat everything we give her. For example, she's been a bit of a vegetarian lately--not really into her meat. And we often give her a veggie/fruit pack or a cheese stick to supplement. But we specifically make her her own food. That is not a precedent I want to set.
He eats what we eat, but I must admit that I sometimes have to supplement his meal with a veggie because what H and I are eating doesn't include one. Last night, for example, we were having roasted turkey/cheddar paninis and tator tots. I personally wasn't in the mood for a veggie so I threw some frozen green beans on V's plate. I should probably eat them too, huh?
oddly enough my pedi recommended spicy food for baby!
Dh and I like a lot of Sriracha or Tobasco sauce and honestly I don't think Liv could tolerate that. One time though, DH didn't realize he had fed her the spicy peppers in this vietnamese ham that he was eating. Liv didn't flinch but oh man you could see the sweat on her nose and forehead. hahaha
