I asked the same question...DS goes in on Friday for his shots. He's passed 4 months but we didn't want to risk him getting a fever when the inlaws were here and that was the only appt we could get. I hope it's better this time because DS had a fever last time...:(
I just got back from taking DD for hers. She didn't so much as flinch when she got her shot today. So far she hasn't had any noticeable side effects to any of her shots (she gets them monthly through 7 months), and I'm hoping today is no exception.
The doctor said that the 5 month shots are a bit of a doozy though, so I imagine she'll be crying a good bit like she did with the 3 month shots. Luckily that only lasted until we got in the elevator. Hopefully next month's won't be any worse.
Sorry to be a Debbie Downer, but he made a shocked, horrible face and then cried when last time it was just a general cry. Ugh. I didnt cry last time and I cried this time and dammit Im tearing up again- It was awful.
He had a little cold so he was more miserable this time around.
My doctor told me that babies are more likely to have a reaction for their 4 month shots then their 2 month shots. I can't remember what her reasoning for this was though. I take Hannah next Thursday so we'll see. She did really good with her 2 month shots.

ugh! LO had a big red bump on her thigh from the shots
Re: 4 month shots
Our dr said every round of shots gets easier, up to the 18m ones. Then he admitted the 5yo shots are usually not too pleasant.

Not looking forward to it
This was the same for us too. After the two month she was a little fussy, but not the four months.
