Yesterday was so much fun!

For DS's actual birthday, yesterday, I still wanted to do something special with the little man even though we had a small party for him on Sunday so we went for a long walk to check out the village we live in (been here 4 months and it's the first time we have explored the joint lol), then we went to a huge pumpkin patch and picked out our pumpkins and DD went for a pony ride while DS obsessed about the donkey at the petting zoo ( I can't say that I blame him.  I recently have fallen in love with donkies because they are awesome animals and totally sweet.  I want one.)  Then we came home and all had a nap even though it was 4:30 because we were going to be out late at Pumpkin Inferno.   What is Pumpkin Inferno?

It was awesome.  We had a great time.  Both kids were passed out in the car after about 5 minutes of getting into the car.  It was great!!!

    Do they do this every year?  I wanna go!  But I feel like we should wait a year or two, since we'd then have to drive a couple hours back home.

    Wow, what a great day.  It sounds like you have some great memories to write down in the baby book.  Oh, and how can you NOT love Donkeys?

    Do they do this every year?  I wanna go!  But I feel like we should wait a year or two, since we'd then have to drive a couple hours back home.

    This was (as far as I know) the first year they have done this.  If you aim to get there for 7:00, it takes about an hour to get through the place  (longer if you want, give a bottle/meal on the run, baby is asleep in the car before you are out of the parkinglot.   

    They also do Alight the Night every night starting some time in November and it's the coolest display of Christmas lights I have ever seen.

    Hmmm, I may have to see what DH thinks about going.  I love Halloween!
