When I win the Nobel Prize...

(not that it will ever happen but...) this is what I would wear when I go to collect my prize! Now I just need to be that skinny and have such flawless skin. It would make all of the old people jealous (like I am right now).

ETA:  It is only $150...maybe I can just buy it and wear it to work in the lab.

  • Yes, it would look stunning under a frumpy, shapeless lab coat with a few loading dye stains  :P

Agreed! :) Now I just need a tiara to complete my ensemble! I also want these shoes so I can blind people with these rather than science. I could have really used these for my talk at the conference last week!

  • I'm a firm believer that if you find something that you love and is relatively affordable, you buy it and then find an occasion.  I fell in love with a black and white ball gown a few years ago that was on sale for a ridiculously low price.  I bought it, then DH and I went on a black tie date.  It was fun!  I say, you only live once (that we know of), live it up!

Oh that is a great reason why I should get it! I just need to convince DH of that (I should buy the dress now and hide it then tell him I have had it for years)!

Sharksfan...you are so right! I have never had an opportunity to wear any kind of formal dress besides my wedding dress for my first marriage (early 90's and not so stylish). Now that I am damn near 40 I am dreaming of an opportunity to dress like this at some point. I should definitely consider buying it and making an occasion to wear it.

Dr Worm...the shoes are closed toe so I am in business! I tried them on at the mall over the weekend and I am about 10 feet taller than DH with them on. I don't think he appreciated it when I said "I love you my little husband!" LOL!!
