  With my first it took me 19 months to resume - literally started the day that I stopped nursing!

  I didn't even think about nursing stopping it!

  mine was 5 months, which is when I started weaning from exclusively pumping. Bfing can definitely have an affect on when your cycle will start again.

  6 weeks actually 5.5 weeks to be exact! Even though I exclusively breastfed, mine came back early and I ovulated later that month as well.

  I stopped BFing at 5w. Period returned 10w pp.

  With DD1 it returned at 7mths, but didn't stop BF DD until she was 18mths.

  DD2 is 8mths and it hasn't returned.

  I don't think there is any rule. Everyone is different,

  first baby - 5 months

  second baby - 4 months

  I went back on the pill, so this was my 1st PP Period at 9.5 weeks PP, but again Im on the pill
