We are still TTC but DH and I are already discussing names for future LOs. He is dead set on a Christian name. Problem is that I can't find any Biblical names that I like because I feel like all the really good ones are already used so much (like Noah or Luke). So he is open to finding a Saint's name or I've even talked him into names that have Christian meanings or Christian connotation which are usually my favorite. For example I like Bishop (girl), Chapel (girl), and especially Shepherd (boy)...
Can you think of any other names like this? Boy or Girl. Thanks in advance!
Re: Christian baby names
I'm sorry, but I do not think Bishop or Chapel make good names for little girls.
There are a ton of amazing, non-popular Biblical and saints' names without having to resort to Chapel. Here's a list of 500 or so: https://www.behindthename.com/names/usage/biblical
Some I like that aren't overused are, for girls: Bethany, Eden, Miriam, Susanna, Ruth, Sarai, Selah, Adalia, Dinah, Magdalen, and Salome
Boys: Gideon, Ezra, Levi, Emmanuel, Joel, Jeremiah, Zachariah, Reuben, Saul, Solomon, Silas, Malachi, Asa, Isaiah, Jairus and Omri
Or have a look through here: https://www.catholic.org/saints/stindex.php
There are hundreds of awesome names there too. Please don't use Chapel or Bishop as a girl's name when there are so many great Biblical/saint names.
Having known a girl named Bishop who was an utter train wreck, please don't use that name. I also think it's odd to use an occupational religious name.
I do like Shepherd for a boy with the nn Shep.
If you are going the religious route, I would use something that the meaning of the name works for you.
I would never think of Bishop as a girl's name.
How about Fable? Eve, Eden, Genesis
Seth, Jonah, Mark, Roman, Levi, Eli

Also, you could do Mercy, Faith, something like that.

Or you could always do Christian... It's getting really popular though.

Those are awful and are not Christian names. They are not names. Stick with the saints.
I'm sorry to ask, but are you serious?
EDIT I really mean no offence but I couldn't imagine someone using those names. I just read your last post and I'm glad they weren't really being considered. Those links from PP should help.
I like Shepherd! If you wanted to go word names, I know two sisters named Calvary and Trinity. Not my favorites, but better than Bishop or Chapel. Other suggestions...

I also like Isaiah, Elias, and Benjamin

I would steer clear of using actual nouns related to Christianity to name my child. Instead I would look towards those mentioned in the Bible or related to my faith in other ways.
Off the top of my head, I like:
Boys:
Jonah
Aaron
Bartholomew
Cyrus
Ephraim
Jude
Malachi
Girls:
Anna
Felicity
Esther
Leah
Rebekah
Tabitha

We use a book called "The Best-Ever Christian Baby Name Book" by Nick Harrison and Steve Miller when making our lists. It has the Biblical names marked with a star and the others are loosely associated with Christianity, either because they're saints' names or famous Christians' names, etc. It gives the meaning of the name, a Biblical reference if there is one, and then variations / nicknames.
There are also plenty of websites where you can search by Christian and/or Biblical names, but if you're looking for a book you can hold in your hands, I can recommend that one.

BFP3: DD2 born Feb 2013 at 38w4d via unplanned RCS due to uterine dehiscence
If you're looking for names like Bishop: Castle, Rook, and Pawn come to mind...
In terms of serious suggestions, though, the ladies above have made tons of great ones. I myself am not Christian and therefore not very helpful. I did recently meet a woman named Kateri, who told me that she and all her siblings were named after saints. I thought it was unusual and cool.
Can't go wrong with Mary for a girl. It's not very common anymore. Or you could use a version of Mary: Maryanne, Marian, Miriam, Maria, Marie.
Look at the Twelve Apostles for boy names: Peter, James, Bartholomew, Andrew, Matthew, Simon, Jude, James (again), Thomas, Phillip, Matthias, Jude.
Or you could go with Christopher, Christian, Christine/a.
There are soooooo many names that are Christian, thanks to the plethora of saints. I'd suggest getting a saints-name book and going through that.
