WDYT of Alicia?

WDYT of the name Alicia? Pronounced like Alicia Keys. It is appealing to me for some reason, but I worry that it might sound dated.

    I think it's a very nice name. I also think names only sound "dated" if they were extremely popular at one time (like #1 or #2) and then rapidly fell off again. For example, I hope no one named Britney or Brittany hits me over the head for saying this, but that name was EXTREMELY popular 15-20 years ago, but people aren't using it now. Therefore, that name is dated.

    I think it sounds dated.  I knew a lot growing up in the 80s like Jennifer, Jessica and Amy.  There is nothing wrong with any of these names and I like them all, they are just mostly from a certain decade when they were popular names.

    It does sound a little dated to me.  I also don't like that there are multiple pronunciations, like Alicia Keys or Alicia Silverstone.

    I like it and don't have a particular time-bound association with it.

    I like it. It was my BFF's name as a kid/teen, and she was the only Alicia I knew. So it doesn't sound dated to me at all. It also works in both Spanish and English, which is a bonus (especially depending on where you live).

    I don't like it. It does sound dated but even when it was popular it was one of my least favorite names. I even have a cousin named Alicia so it's not that I have a bad association with it, just don't like it.

    BFP #3: 10/2011 ectopic 11/2011 (right tube removed, learned left tube was probably nonfunctional due to scar tissue from infection after m/c)

    3 failed IUIs, IVF #1: 18R, 12M, 10F, 3 poor quality 5d embryos transferred= BFP #4!!!!!

    Betas: 9dp5dt: 64 ~14dp5dt: 91 (expecting miscarriage, doubling time of 236 hours) ~16dp5dt: 200~18dp5dt: 500

    First Ultrasound at 6w2d revealed two sacs, only one with a heartbeat

    LK arrived after 42 weeks on August 14, 2013! Beautiful, healthy, and happy!

    TTC#2: IVF booked for April 2015

    Surprise BFP#5 February 19, 2015 EDD: November 2, 2015

    Betas: 10dpo: 10, 14dpo: 77, 17dpo: 270

    First Ultrasound at 5w1d showed a miracle UTE baby! And right ovary ovulation to left fallopian tube.

    JD arrived at 38 weeks on October 20, 2015.

    TTC #3: Since October 2017. BFP #6 July 2, 2018 EDD: March 16, 2019 [/spoiler]
