  yeahhalbach:

  Anyone have any experience as to weather 3 dots in a triangle (2 close to the body and one on top) is a boy or a girl on a 14 week ultrasound? They are all the same size dots. Our ultrasound tech said she thought it was a boy, but from what I've been reading online I get mixed opinions.

  Thougts? 

   

  People on in-gender call this the "dreaded 3 dots" because it can go either way. It's all together just not a good way to guess gender because both boys & girls can have the 3 dot triangle.

  I've bought a few onesies based on the ultrasound tech telling us it was a boy and writing "boy parts" with an arrow on the pic. They are 3 identically shaped dots though. It looks like it could be boy parts but now I'm super confused... I'm going to have to put everything on hold until our 20 week next month. I wish I could just know for sure

  We had our gender reveal this weekend at exactly 15 weeks.  The ultrasound tech was 100% convinced these dots meant we were having a girl.  We have another ultrasound at 18 weeks where they will confirm again.

  My 14 week looked more like a protrusion that could go either way. My 16 week showed three dots, and without a doubt boy.

  Interesting... at 16 weeks my tech said "see these 3 dots, that looks like a GIRL"  So she says the 3 dots are girl, maybe the fact that it at 16 weeks and not 14, that makes it look more girl.  I don't know, now I'm confused about the 3 dot thing.
