IDK if it's technically CD safe, but I've used it for 15 months without issue.
My MIL who CD'd six kids also used it religiously and never had a problem.
It washes right out (I've never seen residue), doesn't seem to buildup and doesn't repel.
I will say though, make sure the butt is dry before you put it on and don't use it on a yeast rash.
