Wardrobe - 1 year photos. A tutu, but no top on - weird or cute?

I think its cute, my mom thinks its weird.  She thinks nude photos are cute with newborns but with kids above 6 months its weird.

    I'm not a fan. Not because I think it's inappropriate, I just think if they have a skirt on it looks a little odd to not have a top on.

    I think it's cute but then again I would still say cute with a shirt. My friends DD did her 1 year pics the same-a tutu with no top and she was wearing a pearl necklace. Those pics were adorable!!!!

    I vote weird. Especially with a necklace. Sorry. Those types of pics seem inappropriate to me. If you're going to dress LO like a little girl tutu, jewelry,etc, it's weird that the only piece missing is a top.

    I can't even grasp how it would be weird.

    I think it's just fine and if it's for a cake smash, it's logical and looks a lot better (and makes more sense) than a fully clothed child eating cake.

    I think it's cute. But then I did 9 month pics with a mermaid tail and pearl necklaces.

    Naked isn't off the table all together for older babies but with this style it's not just a cute naked baby at that point. If they are wearing a skirt and necklace they look like a baby pretending to be an older woman which then makes people notice that she's topless.

    I was going to say no but then I looked at the link you shared and those were all pretty cute.  I don't like the necklace idea that other people have said though.

    Why not take pictures with the top on and then off and see what you like best . take a few test shots at home to see what you like best

    We did this for DD#1's one year pics- we did with a top on and then took the top off for her to eat her smash cake in instead of doing that in just a diaper and I loved the way they turned out

    I don't think it's weird at all. Totally Cute. I can't understand putting a shirt on for cake smash, honestly.
