Well, that was a disappointment! (NBR)

The local library advertised a "Mother Daughter Painting Workshop." I signed up and took my 9yo. Uh, it was more like "sketching with regular paper and pencil" with a brief lecture from a local artist. That was not what I was expecting...

Oh well, it wasn't terrible and we enjoyed some quality time together... And my daughter was inspired to try her hand at a self-portrait.
