DS hates to be swaddled! ?He grunts, squirms, and fusses -- you would think it stops and he would just give in to the power of the swaddle and relax? ?Nope. ?And if we don't swaddle him, he wakes himself up by punching himself in the face or kicking... ?Ugh. ?Anyone else? ?

    My DD also has a problem w/ swaddling....because she likes to suck on her hand. So, we just swaddle her legs and leave her arms free. Sometimes we will swaddle her so that her arms are against her chest tightly but her hands are still near her mouth.

    Our dd hated it UNTIL we got the miracle blanket.  It is like a straight jacket for babies (but in a happy way :).  After that, she loved it and it kept her from attacking herself with her hands.

    lol, I know what you mean!  We swaddled DD for the first few weeks, but she would try to break out almost every time.  We finally gave up.

    Look at it this way.  You won't have to post one of those..."how do I stop swaddling my 9 month old child" posts!

    I was stretching on the time frame, but I know I see a ton of posts on advice on how to stop swaddling!  We struggled with it for a bit ourselves.  I was starting to think of how on earth I was going to swaddle her in college:)
