Intro - 2 losses and trying again (DD mentioned)

Hi all,

I tend to lurk here a bit (when I'm TTCAL, that is...), so I figured I'd finally get around to doing an official intro.  This year I've had 2 m/c's - one in Feb with a blighted ovum and one in July @ 9w1d that the testing came back as triploid (70 chromosomes, xxy).  My OB says it's just bad luck - which as so many of you know, is one of the crappiest "answers" to get.  We also have a 2-year old DD, who was so easy to conceive that I'm even more frustrated that trying to have a 2nd child has become such a challenge.  I seriously feel like 2012 has been m/c groundhog day.

So, AF has finally arrived after 8 weeks and we're back on the TTCAL bandwagon.  I'm mostly scared, kind of sad, and trying my hardest to be optimistic.  In the meantime, I'm throwing everything at the wall - charting, pomegranate juice, raspberry tea, vitex, you name it.  Let's hope something sticks.

    I'm so sorry for you losses. It's so hard to feel like you'll never get that innocent excitement of pregnancy back...like you probably had with your first DD. Good for you to try to be optimistic...I know its hard. ((hugs))

    First, I am so sorry for your losses. Welcome to the board! I had a m/c in February and another in July as well. My dr. just completed RPL testing and came back with the "answer" that it was probably bad luck and told us to try again. Like you, I am scared, sad and optimistic all balled into one emotional mess. I have my FX that you don't have to stay here long. Good luck!

    I'm so sorry for your losses.  TTCAL is a major roller coaster of emotions - I totally understand the mixed feelings about trying again.  Anyway - welcome!  I hope you find as much support here as I have.  Big {{HUGS}}

    I'm so sorry for your losses! I have had a similar experience while TTC #2, my last m/c was also due to triploidy. I understand how you feel about TTC now, it's such a roller coaster of emotion. I go between fear and hope mostly. Some days are better than others. Just wanted to say welcome and good luck! :)

    Thanks the warm welcome, ladies!  I'm sorry to hear that some of you are in a very similar boat, but it's reassuring to know that we're not going through it alone.

    Welcome to the board and I'm sorry for your losses. I'm in a very similar boat. We had a m/c in February, then a second loss just recently. We also have a 2.5 year old DS who was effortlessly conceived on our first cycle TTC. Bringing him into the world was such a joyful experience, and now all of this heartache on our road to having a second. I keep telling myself it will all be worth it someday when we have our rainbow baby.
