I always laugh to myself when I hear DH in the other room changing DS's diaper... and DS poops immediately in the new diaper (or on the changing table) and he has to change him again. For whatever reason this always happens to DH and almost never to me. And I'm the one who changes DS the most.
I lied to SO when he asked if we were cleared for entry (yesterday was my 6 week pp check). Told him we had to wait til after my period. I don't even feel bad at all. I'm not ready for WWIII up there.......
Gabe and I went away with DH on a business trip at a resort that's about a 3 hour drive from here. It was so nice! The confession part is that we had to board our cat because the people who usually come feed him for us when we are away, came on the same trip. He is still there and I really don't want to go pick him up. Make no mistake, I love my cat and I would be devastated if anything ever happened to him, but he is very high maintenance and demanding! We joke that he thinks he is a dog! For example, when I am up feeding Gabe in the middle of the night, Casper (my cat) comes over and rubs his head against my hand trying to get me to pet him. If I don't pet him, he'll nip at my arm. I feel like he's been so neglected lately...poor kitty.
Really shallow FFFC today. I hate sweatpants with stuff written on the butt. It's tacky. I hate Victoria's Secret Pink stuff worn out of the house by adult women. Tacky. I hate Coach bags, shoes, etc. A lot of it is ugly. And again, tacky. I see way too many women with ombre hair, VS Pink sweatsuits, Ugg boots and Coach bags walking around the malls. Its so cloned and contrived. I appreciate individuality.
I also dislike stuff written on the butt from VS. It's tacky and I have no idea why people think it's cute.
I'm also really disturbed that VS markets their products to little girls. Wasn't VS supposed to be sexy lingerie for women? I am frightened whenever I go into a VS and there are 12 year old girls in there. They should not be seeing the naughty things I want to buy for my H!

My FFFC is I haven't been away from Howell for more than ten minutes when I ran into the produce market once. He is six weeks on Tuesday. I should at the very least leave him with DH.
When I post something, either start a post or comment on one, I get all excited when a regular poster comments on it! Shout out to: c_mo, anbeck, bpaws, bemyselfandi just to name a few ... Yeah that sounded awkward ...
Me too!
I get excited when anyone comments on my posts or comments!
Me too! I love it when people post on my threads lol... Sometimes when it's been a while and no one has commented but it's got a ton of views I get self conscious and wonder if what I wrote is too stupid to comment on haha
LOL! Yes to all of the above... especially the bolded. Yes, I know I'm lame.

Same here! I haven't left DS2 alone with anyone for more than a few minutes, and it was only once with DH and he was just sitting in his car seat while I ran into the store for one thing.... I'm thinking of going for lunch by myself tomorrow and leaving all three kiddos at home with DH (during DS1's 2 hour nap of course).
My FFFC: DS2 hasn't even had one bottle yet (I EBF), and he's over 6 weeks old. Maybe we'll try this weekend....

I didn't have a FFFC until like 30 mins ago, but while giving DD her bath the shower head spray got away from my and sprayed her in the face for 3 to 5 seconds. Her scared little face was priceless. I immediately grabbed her and held her. She was certainly shocked, but didn't cry. She coughed twice and then was fine. Thank God! Mommy's bad.
I agree with not giving cereal. Babies that are the age of our LO's aren't supposed to sleep. I look like a fcking hag right now and I have resigned myself to being perpetually tired for the next 10 months or so. Oh and just a warning. My 8 year old woke me up EVERY SINGLE night until he was about 4 years old. 4 years of broken sleep was brutal. A few months...that sounds fine to me.

I'm considering trying a little bit of rice cereal in DS's bottle at night as suggested to me over and over and over by my parents and grandmother... even though I told them it's a horrbible idea because I know it is and DH strongly agrees but after over a month of no more than 3 hours of sleep at a time, I'm desperate to get him to sleep a little bit longer stretch through the night. I know it's not a guarantee but I'm willing to secretly try it because he just never seems satisified. Even after 3.5 or 4 oz which has been his max at one feeding, he will scream for more an hour later.

Truly, it's been proven this doesn't work. Please don't thicken bottles unless directed by a doctor.
Three hours is normal at this age. You just need to give it time.
I agree. It doesn't do anything but give extra calories they don't need. Don't quote me, but I believe it has been linked to childhood obesity.
Can I come to your house and snuggle your moos too??????
Seriously, I was an animal science major in college and I NEVER got over the cuteness of the babies. I was never able to fully see them as future "products" if you know what I mean.
My confession? I have yet to cook dinner since kiddo was born. I know I'm going to have to start again soon, and I actually cook really well...but I'm enjoying the break. Le sigh. All good things must come to an end, I suppose.
I have my degree in Animal Science as well! You are more than welcome to come and snuggle all these babies all 350 of them. My DS thinks it is hilarious when his daddy brings (calvies) as Cooper calls them in the house.
