It's Thursday. Where has the week gone? SO told some lady at the store that Sergio was almost 7 weeks old and I thought,"How does he not know how old his kid is? He's almost 6 weeks!" No...no, he's not. He's almost 7 weeks. Christ.

I don't understand why people rush into life changing situations. My friend met a guy in May, got engaged in July, married in August and informed me she wasn't going to use BC so I'm waiting for her to tell me she's pregnant. If her biological clock was ticking I'd get it but she just turned 24 and has already been divorced once. She and her H admitted how much she has baby fever. She should spend a night with me and DS ... That should cure it.

I absolutely cannot stand people hating on the Biebs. He's a pop singer - there's a whole genre of pop singers. He's not the first. Get over it. The worst part is that when adults make fun of him, the sentiment trickles down to kids who will then make fun of other kids who DO like his music. And then there's bullying.
Same goes for Twilight. They were a fun read, very light and casual. The only reason I enjoyed them was because it made me feel all mushy-crushy like when I was 14 - the target audience. If you're a grown-ass woman and you're vocally slamming Twilight on, say, Facebook, then you're a giant doucher. Just let it go - it's not for you.
Getting children to read is a good thing, even if it's starting out as fluff. It's your job as a parent to introduce more quality literature, not berate the one thing she's starting to read.
This post is brought to you out of irritation. I have several Facebook friends that I'm starting to see are more moronic than I originally understood them to be via the stupid yourecards and bluntcards they share.

This is not unusual nor unpopular. This is just a plain fact. Matt Lauer IS sexy.
My UO is I don't understand why mothers don't know how to push their strollers through doorways. I see moms struggle with this and don't know why. All you do is back out of a door you push. For pull doors, you pull it open with the stroller facing away from the door, hold it open with your hip, swing the stroller around. Done. No struggle necessary.
Man I am so this mom! I manage to make it through the doorway, and I understand how you're supposed to do it but I always make it so awkward. I'm totally intimidated with my new double stroller and won't even go to a store without automatic doors yet. I should mention that I'm the most uncoordinated person on Earth.
This might make me look bad...but.... At first when I struggled with my supply and decided that it was easier on both me and baby if I didn't breastfeed, I was really down on myself thinking that I had somewhat failed. It took me weeks to get past the guilty feeling everytime I made LO a formula bottle.
Fast forward to now and HALLELUJAH. It's such a relief that DH can help with bottles, I can leave the baby for 2 hours to go to the gym, I'm not getting milked by a pump all day long, I can have whatever size glass of wine I want....
Maybe it's selfish but I am so much happier now than I was when LO was 2,3,4 weeks old.
(This is NOT to bash anyone who breastfeeds...I'm actually extremely impressed and envious of those who stuck with it and had success with it.)

Oprah gets on my nerves. I do not like her. She comes off as someone who is arrogant with an "I think I'm better than you but I'm pretending to be sincere" attitude.
Same with Kim Kardashian and her mother Kris. I admit I am a Kardashian watching skeeze, but I can not stand how snooty Kim and her mother are. Kim isnt even that pretty to me. They should both come to Texas and ill show them how us country girls handle stuck ups like them :P
Dancing with the stars is old news and over rated. It's like American idol...needs to be over with already.

Oh no! If I could I would train you! I spent my "who am I?" years as a nanny for twins. Twice. I mastered the tandem and side by side. Othersiwse I too am terribly uncoordinated. Don't let it keep you home though! People love opening doors for strollers!

Ahhhh I have the biggest crush on Matt Lauer! I thought I was the only one. I've heard lots of rumors that he cheats on his wife though, which seriously bums me out.

I agree. I think Greek yogurt is disgusting! I bought a bunch of it, thinking it would be awesome...not at all.

Tourists from NYC. I know they keep our local economy going. But they piss me off. They drive like morons, they cover the town like flies on sht every weekend and they can be rude. Not all....some.
Oh man, same here. I really liked "Rolling in the Deep" and I didn't get sick of it's radio play as fast as I do most music, but when I did get sick of it, it was like the freaking song flu. Or song pneumonia. And the rest of her radio songs got really old, really quick for me. I think she's lovely and has a great voice, though.

Me too! And I think that they are actually a very caring family, at lease in terms of each other. They are completely oblivious to the outside world.

This is more likely an UO: I am so sad that Desperate Housewives and One Tree Hill are not on anymore. I have withdrawals from not having Desperate Housewives to watch on Sunday nights anymore, and I really want to see more of Nathan Scott from OTH.

My first time around, I could have written this post word for word. Every single word. It is a little different this time but I do know that since my supply sucks that what I am doing is not sustainable (pumping every 3 hours to only be able to provide a little more than half of his daily intake) and I will be much happier when I decide to move on.
I find it highly irritating that Southerners refer to all pop as "Coke". It makes zero sense!
This is probably not a UO but I have to say it since I went to Kohl's today - I cannot stand how they have one automatic door that is wide enough for one person with a cart that is both an entrance and an exit. I feel like every time I go in and out I am colliding with someone. But I just realized that I have a UO to add to this - I hate Kohl's! It's too cluttered for me but sometimes I just can't pass up their coups so I bite the bullet. Today I got 18 Caribou K-cups for $4.24!
I'm on a roll now - I hate these two words: p**sy and t*ts. I think it sounds so trashy, and particularly for some reason when I hear it come from women.

I haven't had a pop since I was 13 with the exception of the occasional 4 sips of root beer (any more is too sweet).
There are way worse smells than skunk so skunk doesn't register as a bad smell to me. I don't think it is a pretty smell but it isn't as bad as so many make it out to be.
