pain when baby moves

in 3rd Trimester

There is a certain spot, low on my right side, that when baby girl moves and hits that area it hurts. Not like stretching hurt, like scraping or something....it is not intense pain, but it is painful!

Has anyone else experienced anything like this??

    my little one has a couple spots where she kicks and it can hurt and get uncomfortable too. shes just getting so strong in there that her kicks are getting harder and more powerful! I think its normal :)

    I've felt a scraping feeling, like a foot rubbing along the bottom of my belly, mostly on the lower left side. Right now I think she's laying like this :  / 

    just a lil more slanted? Lol. Not sure, but when she stretches out its not so comfy!!

    My LO tends to get the nerve right above my left hip in front. Sometimes it's a twinge. Other times I actually gasp in surprise. He gets quite a grip on my insides :)

    Yep, sometimes it feels like baby is chewing its way out! 

    I think it may be a bruise from a kick, that the baby then kicks again. There are definitely spots that are more sore than others. I also gasp!

    I have felt simuliar pains to this. I also notice I am soar after sleeping through the night in certain areas and my belly is tight. I think this is due to the weight of my LO when I fall asleep in certain postions but latley she has been scraping me or kicking me high towards the breast bone.. Ouch!!!

    Same thing happened to me two days ago!
    Sharp stabbing feeling lasted about a full day, but it eventually went away.
    try massaging that area slowly and gently. It helped me alot.
    It hurt so bad to the point where it hurt to bend over in anyway, so I took a nap and it was gone by the time I woke up.
    I'd try taking a short nap, sometimes it helps.

    So glad you posted this, I have been feeling pains in my lower stomach today when the baby moves.  Now I feel like my whole stomach is sore and it hurts to bend over.  So relieved to hear other's are experiencing this as well.
