Up until recently I've only been throwing around names in my head/not giving it much thought but lately I feel like I'm kind of set on one for each.
Avery Elizabeth for a girl or Noah John for a boy.
I don't think I'll bring them up to DH until after our NT scan on 10/8 (and I pretty much get to pick the name of this LO because DH was very stubborn when we named our son) and of course I'm aware that things could change between now and April..
But I'm just curious if anyone else has it narrowed down quite a bit already?
Re: Anyone else have names narrowed down already?
yes, we've had names picked out for 2 yrs!! lol
girl: Avery Grace
boy: Sawyer Phillip
Claire Brittany!!
Tyler (10/29/08)
and Lily (4/21/13)
If I had a Jr., I would definitely name my boy the third. I think Trey is such a cute nn!
And we have boy first name picked out with mn narrowed down, and girls we have down to 3 fn options with 1-2 mns each.
Yes. We have both a boy's and a (likely) girl's name.
Edited to remove actual name choices. Just seems like bad juju, too early to put them out there.
Over-40 parents...what we lack in vigor, we make up for with cunning.
Really?? Aw that's too bad! I've always loved the name Brittany. But I have a cousin named Brittney so it's always been out of the question for me to give any of my kids
What about Claire Isabelle
Claire Madeline
Claire Christine
Claire Lynn
??

Yes, we have ours narrowed:
Girl= Silvia Corinne
Boy= Oliver Clark
Now, this is could change if we hear/see/read something we like better. We had some pretty set ideas with DD's name-- and they were completely dropped at 18 weeks when we thought about "Evelyn."
We have our boy name picked out (it's what DD's name would've been if she was a boy instead), but no girl names yet. And, although we had a middle name before, I think we're not going to use it anymore. We were going to use a family name for a middle name, but don't want to now b/c we didn't name DD after anyone. We just loved her name.
Anyway, boy name we have Matthew. Girl name we have nothing. But, I still have all our favorite names highlighed in our baby name book, so I'm sure I'll be revisiting it before too long.
Girl Jael Evan or Jael McKenna
Boy Byrce Maxwell or Bryce Eli
Ugh that sucks. It's funny because from the time we are little girls we dream of what we will name our babies... and then the time comes and our husbands throw a wrench in to our plans
MH was literally dead set on Tyler last time and wouldn't consider anything else. While I *liked* the name it wasn't something I was *in love with* but I ended up giving in because the thought of naming our son anything else seemed like it would devastate him! Lol. Anyway, I've waited 4 more years and this time I'm getting to pick!! Haha.

We're pretty sure on Cecily Linnea for a girl and definitely set on Lochlan for a boy - middle name will be either Eliot (my pick) or Redvers (DH's pick, it is a family name). I'm open to other middle name suggestions for Lochlan. However, it is definitely possible that things will change over the months ahead.

Nope, we haven't really even talked about it yet -- all I know is that if it is a girl, no middle name.
It is a tradition in the women in my family, going all the way back to my great grandmother -- none of us have middle names, and then when we marry, we keep our maiden names as middle names.
When I was a kid, it bugged me not to have one, but as a woman who got married a little older (34), I loved that I still got to take my husband's name, but didn't have to give up mine, and didn't have to mess around with hyphenatin. I've accomplished a lot under my maiden name, and I didn't want to totally lose it!
We have used Scandinavian names for both our kids and also have a few girls names that we loooove, but are having a lot of trouble with boys names. The only one I like so far is Bjorn, but DH is not a fan.
This! We picked a girl name last time. Kennedy Elizabeth. And then found out we were having a boy. If Landon had been on time he wouldn't have had a name yet. We literally picked a few days before he was born. This time we are waiting until we know if it's a boy or a girl. You guys are making me feel like such an under achiever!
You fill me!!! Z! My BFP Chart
We are both hoping for a boy. We definitely have our boy name picked, first and middle.
If we have another girl, I have a few ideas in my head but we haven't agreed on anything yet.
I know a few people who did this. They had middle names to begin with though and changed them to their maiden name / took their husband's name as their new last name.

We're 100% with our boy name: Micah Ethan
And we're up in the air with girl names. So far we think it will probably be Emma Elise. I also really like Emily Elise....
The nice thing about Emily is that you can still call her Emma and it's acceptable.
My sister's name is Emily Lynn, and we've always called her Emma.
I tried to revive my past suggestion of Gustav and my husband just laughed at me
In all reality we don't have a clue but we have a short list of family names that we might throw in the mix somehow.
Frederick
Thomas
Fay
Jane
Just some names we might work with. I'm partial to Francis/es so that our children will be Hank and Frank, but I also don't want them to sound like a Dr. Seuss book.
Very true!! I love that idea. DH isn't super on board with Emily just yet... he likes Emma better. It's going to take some persuading.
*thumbs up* I asked DH last week, and he suggested "Monty" or "Shanaynay," which was his way of saying he doesn't want to talk about it...
Stella Marie for a girl
Brady Edward for a boy
My grandmother was Sylvia and I love it! My husband is not really on board with it, though, and we already had a girl name picked out from last time.
Eleanor Rose for a girl.
We're pretty much 100 percent decided on those.
We know if it's a boy then he'll be named Mason but we aren't sure of a middle name yet.
If it's a girl then we've chosen Hollie Catherine
We've only ever agreed on one boy's name, Alexander. I am loving Malachi right now, but DH won't let me use it for a first name.
For girls, Elizabeth has been on our list for the last two. I also really like Emmeline right now. I think it flows well with Annalise and Charlotte. They're all longer, old fashioned names.
Charlotte Ella 07.16.10
Emmeline Grace 03.27.13
We are dead set.
Boy: Knight Elton
Girl: Berlin Juliet
Knight was my Grandmother's maiden name and we are both German, plus Berlin Juliet goes with DD, Brooke Jaelyn.
I'm obsessed with both of our names.
