NBR: Anyone been to Costa Rica?

We're still pondering a destination for DH's 40th birthday trip in December, but now we're thinking Costa Rica. Have any of you ever been there and/or have any advice? I'm looking at the Manuel Antonio/Quepos area as well as Parque Nacional Corcovado.

There's so much info on the Interwebz that I'm feeling overwhelmed! Gonna see what Rick Steves says.

    I still owe you information (if you still need it), but my BIL lived in CR for a bit. I can ask him about the places you mentioned and maybe ask if he knows of anything new and different. Have you looked into Homeaway from home? Do they do international trades? I think it would be cool to stay in a house... But then I just throught about an all inclusive resort for room service may be better for a birthdy!! I know I have twice said I will get back to you... but I promise I will. I found out there is a closer ski resort that has shuttles from Boulder to The mountain and also Denver to the mountain.

    Beca, no worries! It's not like you have a toddler to take care of or anything. :-) Yeah if your BIL has any info that would be great! Someday when we win the lottery we're going to buy a condo on The World and just cruise the planet for the rest of our lives. I want to see it all!!
