Good Afternoon Ladies,
I went to the doctors yesterday after having some spotting that went away, my OB checked me to make sure my uterus felt like I was 5 weeks and while doing so she says well I now know why you are having back pains. My uterus is tilted (yay me) . She says that I will continue to have back pains until the baby gets bigger and my uterus will tilt upright. So until then the pain will be there which makes it hard to function sometimes, anyone else go through this or going through this?
Re: Tilted Uterus (Back Pain)
Hello! I too have a tilted uterus, although I have not yet missed my period so I don't know if I'm pregnant yet. I was told that a tilted uterus can make it hard to get preggo, so congrats to you! =]
What symptoms did you have before you got your bfp?
I've been exhausted, super thirsty, really chapped lips even though I am literally drinking 120 ounces of water a day! Some headaches, backaches, twinges and such. Kind of feels like I pulled a muscle in my lower abdomen. I'm just really hoping for a bfp! And if I get one, I'm sure I will really be joining you in the back pain soon!
Once again, congrats!
What helped me was exercise, floating in a pool, pregnancy safe massage and stretching.
I think everyone needs a good pregnancy pillow, but it made sleep possible for me from second trimester.
Good luck. I hear it is common.

Thank you!!! I didnt have symptoms before I got myBFP I got really fustrated because my AF was late I had counted myself out and then I got really curious after day 4 of the missing AF and POAS and Viola I got my BFP. About a week after that I just started having this back pain that would come and go which made it hard to sleep, So when I started spotting on Sat I freaked out and went to see my doctor and she told me my uterus was tilted and that is where the back pain was coming from. I hope you get your BFP and can join the 1st Trimester board. My FX for you!!!
Thank You I am over here in agony and then the pain will go away and come back if I am resting I do not feel it but as soon as begin to walk or move too much there it goes. I just tell myself me and this baby are already fighting and we have 8 more months to go.

Hi there, yep, I have a titled uterus as well, it really does suck, cause I have back pain even when I wasn't pregnant, plus I have scoliosis in my lower back(however you pronounce it) So being pregnant makes it 10 times worse, but how I look at it, it is worth it.. Going to the chiropractor may help. What's really bad is the sciotic nerve while being pregnant, it was really bad with my 3rd baby. Hope it gets better for you soon!
