Wall decor

Hey everyone,

I'm curious to know your thoughts on this: DH and I positioned both of our cribs against the wall (i.e. one long side against the wall each), with about six inches between cribs. I framed two prints, and intended to hang one above each crib, but now I am wondering if it is too dangerous to have to glass frames right above the babies. What do you think?

Also, what are you planning to put up on your crib wall?

Personally, I would be afraid of it falling but that's just me. At our old house we had a wall decal above the crib and in our current house I strung up some ABC flash cards. I put LO in his crib to see how high he could reach and then strung them up higher.

I've also been concerned about hanging items such as a framed photo above the crib. I think this might be the perfect place for a wall decal. Smile

We went with sticker decals for exactly the reasons you mentioned. Anything with glass is on the shelves high up on the wall opposite his crib.

I was pleasantly surprised. They went up easy and are easy to move but haven't once fallen off the wall in they year and a half they've been up there.
