My 32 weeker is here bittersweet

At 11:53pm on 9/22/12, 7 minutes shy of sharing a birthday with his mommy, Bradley Michael was born at 32w3d. I had hemorrhaged severely yesterday morning and was allowed to labor. He weighed 4lb5oz and was 17.75in. He has a very healthy cry and is currently breathing on his own in the NICU. We have plans to get him some pumped colostrum this afternoon if he continues to be a rock star.
I probably won't post too much until early December, since I think it'll be hard to see you guys still pregnant. But after that, you bet I'll be back! H and H rest of your pregnancies.

Congrats! So glad to hear he's doing well and breathing on his own... praying his NICU stay is uneventful, and short. Happy Birthday Momma!

Congrats to you and your family. I am sorry that you experienced per term and that all didn't go as planned, but I am happy that your little Bradley is a fighter, good size and doing well in NICU. Hoping his stay there is very short and you are all home together really soon!

Congratulations! I'm sure the next few weeks will be quite stressful, but if he's already breathing on his own, then he really is a rockstar! (Albeit, quite the impatient little one!) I hope that your NICU stay is short and boring, and that you'll both be home soon.
I can completely understand wanting to take a break from TB, but I hope that you will keep us updated from time to time, even if it's through a friend you've made here. I know we'll all be thinking of you and sweet little Bradley!

Congrats! Glad to hear you and. Baby are doing well. I also had my baby at 32weeks 10 days before you. I unexpectedly went into preterm labor and my water broke. After two days on hospital bed rest to keep her inside me longer, I gave birth to her naturally. It was stressful, but all is well too. She came out crying immediately. Nurses gave me a breast pump immediately and I started pumping every 3 hours. It's great you're pumping too. My milk came in 2 days later. I give my breast milk to the nurses to feed her. Thing are going well and she doesn't have health problems. I hope our babies come home soon!
II kind of miss being pregnant too, especially when I see other pregnant women out & about. I feel like something is missing...well obviously since baby is out already. I had such an easy pregnancy. It's a shame my belly never got to reach it's full potential. I often wonder how big I would have gotten these last 2 months of pregnancy. When I visit my baby girl in the NICU everyday, seeing her adorable face is the best feeling. I forget all my bad thoughts and thank God that she's here! Motherhood is amazing! Good luck to you! I hope Bradley's stay in the NICU is short & sweet!
