  I don't but some get them a week or two before it happens. Some get them the day before. It's called mittleschmertz.

  Yep! Had them on/off for four days this cycle, leading up to O day.

  Yes, I usually have pain on one side sometimes pretty bad about 5 days before ovulation. I can tell the RE which side has a mature follie before he does the u/s.

  Most months, I get fairly intense ovulation cramps.  This month, I didn't seem to have any.  Every month is a new adventure, lol

  Yep, I get them almost every month (except when I was on BCP, of course), and it feels like a pinch on one of my sides.  It usually lasts  on and off for a couple days, and then subsides.  Nothing super painful, and it is helpful when calculating my day of "O"....but if it ever got super painful, I would treat it like menstrual cramps and take advil or something....that would probably help.

  I've gotten them ever since I went off of BC more than 2 years ago. This is the third day of O pains, and I got my positive OPK yesterday morning. Mine are quite noticeable and painful.

  Sometimes yes and sometimes no.....and only ever on the left side.

  Thanks everyone!

  I would notice some cramping here and there, but this time its days! I was almost positive I O'd yesterday but had a + OPK twice today, so now I am annoyed that this ovulation pain has lasted 4 days and I still haven't ovulated. The cramping wasn't as bad today however...
