Are your husbands attending your OB appts?

I am only having him go to certain ultrasounds. He went to the first one and probably won't have him go to another one until we find out the sex. Unless he wants to of course.

Prenatal appts aren't very exciting. Pee in a cup, weight, blood pressure and measuring the belly. He went to most of them in our first pregnancy, but our office was closer to his work and he could just head over when he got off work. I had him go to the first doctor appt just so he could meet her. We are using a different doctor this time around and I wanted to make sure he was also comfortable with the office handling our care (I cared more about it than he did). He'll go to the big ultrasound. But other than that he probably won't go to any appts until we walk into L&D.

My husband wants to come to all the appointments. He is a firefighter so he often has time off during the week so he doesn't have to take time off. Our next appointment is on Tuesday. My doctor said it was my "head to toe" appointment and told us that I would get a pap smear. The husband still wants to come. He is so cute about the whole thing.

I agree with this totally. I am diabetic though so my husband is always on me about even some cracker, but lately I've been getting grief about my lack of exercise too. I love that he's involved, but sometimes I wish he was a little less involved. Hopefully as he realizes my sugar levels are great and that I know what I'm doing he'll be better.
