I had a doctors appointment yesterday and I got scolded because I have gained more than I was supposed to these past few months. I will say that I have been eating a lot. Everything just tastes good now!
I was 104lbs at 5'5 and I am now 130lbs
How about you ladies? And what have you been eating?

Re: Weight gain so far...
Weren't you underweight at 105? I'm not pulling up a calculator, but that doesn't sound like inappropriate weight gain to me. What has your doctor recommended that you gain?
I'm also 5'5", started at 148, and am now 165.
At my last apt I weighed 1lb less than what I started as.
Since then I fluctuate up or down either way 2lbs.
I eat like crap. Which reminds me, I need to take my vitamin.

I've gained a bit over 20 lbs, probably closer to 25 now...
I eat food.
Honestly lately I'm not hungry at all. I have to force myself to eat. I do try to eat healthy as much as I can though.
I'm about 5'5" I was around 148 when I got pregnant...then went on a cruise the week I found out, so when I got back we took the weight of 152 at the Dr. office as my start weight. More than I wanted, but oh well.
My weight at my 25 week appointment was 178 which made me bawl my eyes out at 26 lb. They don't seem concerned and haven't said a word. I am VERY concerned and didn't want to gain more than 30, but I'm way past fixing that now so I walk every day or do a pregnancy workout DVD and try to eat better.
Yes, that is underweight for someone who is 5'5". I think the issue is probably the quicker weight gain than her OB wanted, but I really don't understand why OB's get so strict with the weight gaining as long as it isn't posing actual health risks.
I'm up at least 24 lbs at 29 weeks.
Yes I was underweight. I believe she was concerned because I gained 11lbs since my last appointment. She said that if I kept it up and gained 11lbs each month until my pregnancy I'd be in big trouble.
And in addition to that, she said my son is a little bigger than average. I figure it's because of my habit of eating all the time now
i'm 5'3" and started out slightly overweight at 148lbs, as of this past Tuesday i'm at 170. Ugh! it's more than i wanted to gain, and i'm sure i have another 13lbs or so in my future. but i've been indulging a LOT since i got pg. i'm also trying to get in as much good food as possible, but honestly - it's FUN not to worry so much about what i'm eating.
so far my ob/midwife only said something about my weight gain when i asked if it was too much (and she said it was a bit much at the time). since then i've learned my lesson: i don't ask, they don't say anything, and everyone is happy, or at least blissfully ignorant.
i love hearing about everyone's weight gain, or lack of it - it's true, we're all so incredibly different.
losing the weight will be un-fun, but putting it on has been AWESOME.

I'm 5' short
and started out at 100lbs. At my last appointment I was already up 25 lbs. My doctor said it wasn't a problem because I was underweight to begin with. I find out how many lbs i've gained since my last appointment on Tuesday.

That said, I'm up 13lbs at 29 weeks. I lost a bit in the beginning, but have gained one lb per week for a few months now. I eat what sounds good, but am now trying to eat more balanced each day since I realized that I was missing some key pieces (certain vitamins, veggies) in my diet. Oops.
Around 15. I have been eating like crap and put on about 7 or 8 lbs in the last 3 weeks. :-(
I'm up 16 at 27 weeks.
I eat pretty well most of the time... but I'm not going to lie I love ice cream and hot cheetos
