I can't believe it. I am the mother of a toddler.
At this exact moment last year, I was timing contractions, and had DH on standby to come home. I didn't have a hospital bag packed (despite being 5 days overdue, yep, I procrastinate), and I was terrified that this was it. Contractions were 4 minutes apart, lasting 45 seconds, for 2 hours. The doctor called me in, DH came home, my mom was on stand-by to leave (4 hour drive for her, so didn't want her to leave until we knew we were being admitted). After a scary epidural, and some blood oxygen level issues for me, and some wicked nausea, 16.5 hours of labor, and 22 minutes of pushing, my beautiful baby boy came into this world at 11:54 pm.
The last year has been the most wonderful and the most exhausting year of my life, but to see how much he has changed over the past 366 days is amazing. He is truly the light of my life, and my biggest little love.

"Because when you stop and look around, this life is pretty amazing."
