Anyone else have a gut feeling about gender?

Since i found out i was pregnant, i have been having a gut feeling im having a boy.

Babies BPM was 180. The dr said usually high heartbeat usually means girl, but i think thats just an old wives tale.

Does anyone else have a strong gut feeling about the sex of there baby??

Has anyone ever been right on there feelings????

So many people have asked me this already. I don't have one, and I didn't have one when I was pregnant with my first, either. I kinda wish I did :-(

my gut is boy we have three girls already so i dont know if its just because i really really want a boy or thats actually what i'm feeling.. my BPM is at 130 with this one right now and all my girls were around 165....

It's funny you say that about the hb. Mine was 180 and H and I are both pretty convinced it's going to be a girl. He would prefer a boy and I would take either one. Preferably a boy first but I don't really care. Both will be adorable and loved!

I mostly think girl, but every now and again I waiver and think maybe it's a boy.

BPM was 155 this AM. I"ll be honest, I would prefer a girl!

I've been feeling like it's a boy, but it's not based on anything, just my gut feeling. But it might just be because I'm hoping it's a boy. DH didn't like this when I told him. He keeps saying he just wants a healthy child, which I also want! But a friend of mine had a dream long ago where she saw us with a young boy, and it's stuck with me.

I absolutely, 100% knew I was having a boy with my first pregnancy. I had non stop boy dreams.. I even went out and bought some boy clothes before we found out. With this one... I honestly have no clue!

I go back and forth. My DD is convinced the babe is a girl. She always refers to it as "she" or "her". If the beginning of your pregnancy is any clue it should be a boy since I am as sick with this one as I was with my son.

My gut says girl. But that could be because not ONE person on H's or my side of the family has had a boy first. Always a girl!

With DS I knew it was a boy but I was hoping against hope he would be a girl.

Oh my gosh me too... I cried at the ultrasound appointment when we found out DS was a boy (mortifying and ridiculous, I know. And he is THE sweetest boy I have ever met and wouldn't trade him for anything of course!!)

I don't want to get my hopes up either way this time, so I'm trying to stay incredibly neutral and ignore any gut feelings.

I had a gut feeling my first was a boy and I was right. This time around my symptoms are very different so my gut feeling is that it's a girl.

I don't think I'm objective enough about myself to guess accurately- although I'm usually pretty good guessing for other people.

My BFF's 3 year old saw my U/S pic and immediately said it was a little girl- so here's hoping she's uncannily intuitive and right!

Well I've had a dream it was a boy, and I also had a dream that I had a girl, so I can't go by dreams. The boy dream was a little more realistic, though. FI desperately wants a boy, and since we each have a girl, I guess a boy would be nice. But for some reason I'm really hoping it's another girl!

I'm convinced I'm having a girl.... not just because I REALLY want a girl, but I think it is. My mom and DH both also think girl... but all my friends at work think boy. But then again, they are just comparing my pregnancy symptoms to theirs and they all had boys.

You almost cannot convince me otherwise.... I've also had 3-4 dreams that it's a girl. I haven't had one boy instinct.

I'm thinking boy...so does DH. He said that he was sure as I have had little m/s and usually only in the am (which according to him means boy). The first u/s pic he sent to his sister and was telling her that it was a pic of his boy. They were wondering if I was future along since we knew

Told him that he has to watch out as it could be a girl. He would be fine with that, but still thinks boy. Time will tell. I also have to watch it as I have only been looking at boy themes for everything..good thing I have not bought anything yet!

When I was preg with DS I had a gut feeling it was going to be a boy and it was. With this one I haven't developed that feeling yet. Although my dr said that our LO has a hb of a girl but Im taking that with a grain of salt because he's been known to be quite the mispredictor. However, we've taught our 2 1/2 yr old to respond when asked what's in mommy's tummy with "a baby." This past weekend he randomly responded with "a baby girl." So weird because there never has been any mention of gender to him.

I'm really thinking girl and until I became pregnant, I never wanted a girl.Now I'm hoping for a girl! I never thought I could handle a girl because I'm not very girly, but maybe that means she won't be either. Or maybe it will just be a boy!

I had a strong gut feeling last time that it was a girl. HB, symptoms, etc all followed the preditictable pattern for girl and sure enough, we had a DD 9 months later.

This one, I am not so sure. I thought boy when I got my BFP, but have started thinking girl more and more.

I am genuinely personally indifferent as to whether we have a boy or a girl, as long as it is healthy... but i know that DH really wants a boy, and for our first one, I guess I'm hoping for one too just because I know he's freaked out enough already and he'll probably feel more comfortable with a boy than a girl (although he also really only truly cares that it is healthy).

BPM was 140 -- the wives tale I've heard is always "over 140 is a girl, under 140 is a boy." Arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh we're right AT 140!!!

I have a feeling its a boy, I have all along - this pregnancy just feels different, but DD insists its a girl/baby sister...we shall see. The heart rate was 175 bpm, same as DD's.

With dd everyone was convinced I was having a boy but I knew she was a girl from the start. I feel exactly the same way this time so I'm betting on a girl again. Dh is convinced little bean is a boy. Either way he/she will be loved to pieces!!

I don't have any specific gut feeling about it. I can't even be decisive while dreaming about it! I just had a dream where it was a baby boy, and later in the same dream it was a baby girl!

My gut is totally telling me that LO is a boy. Whenever I think that I may be wrong and LO may be a girl, my gut tells me that I already know it is a boy. The feeling is so strong that I can't deny it.

I'm leaning towards girl, only because this pregnancy has been so different than my pregnancy with Tony. I know that doesn't mean anything, though.

When I was pregnant the first time, in my 1st tri I was SO convinced I was having a girl. I seriously had to force myself to not buy pink items! We were Team Green, so when we had the 20-week ultrasound and the tech asked us if we wanted to know the sex, H and I said no. That night, before I went to bed, I said "I want to dream about my baby tonight" and I had a dream that we were back at the ultrasound, and it very clearly showed we were having a boy. When Tony came out I wasn't all that surprised!

I *knew* DD was a girl...I don't know how but my gut told me girl and she was! With this one, I feel boy but not as strongly yet. I do keep accidentally referring to the baby as "he" so I have to stop that until we know. I feel like I'm getting DH's hopes up!

I know DH is hoping for a boy, and I honestly have no preference. But for whatever reason, I have a really strong feeling that it's a girl. I have no idea why. I guess we'll find outeither way in just a few more months!
