Dilation/effaced ? for STMs

I know everyone is different but I am curious to hear averages. I am 37w today and am 1cm dilated and 50 effaced. Midwife was surprised to see such progress already. How long were you effaced/dilated before baby came?

I started dilating between 38 and 39wks with DD and steadily increased a cm every appointment and was induced just shy of 41wks. I walked into my induction at 4cm and 80 percent. I'm declining internals until my due date this time.

ETA: With DD I started having BH at 23wks and real contractions at 34wks. This time my BH started around the same time and real contractions started at 33wks.

I'm a FTM, but at my 35 week appt last Friday, I was 2 cm/60%. Hoping this means she comes relatively soon...but not too soon!

At 36 weeks 2 cm and 60%. I have been having contractions since 32 wks and was closed and long before 36 wks.

It's hard to say how much progress I made before DS1 was born since they didn't do my 1st internal until 38 weeks. At 38 weeks, I was 1cm dilated and 80% effaced. My water broke at 39w3d but it was an extremely long labor and he didn't arrive until 39w5d.

ETA: They checked me at 39 weeks too and I was the same as I was at 38 weeks. When I went into the hospital after my water broke, I was 2cm and 100% effaced, but he stayed at a -3 station until I was 9cm. He was too happy up in my ribs!

I'm a FTM but at my 36w appt I was 2cm and 50%, and at my 37w I was 3cm and still around 50%. Next appointment is tomorrow, so we'll see if anything has changed.

My cervix was nice and long on 8/18. 2 weeks later, my water broke and, when they finally checked, I was 4cm/80. Honestly don't know if it's from my water breaking or if I was already dilated/effaced.

At my 37 week appt last week I was 2 cm and 60 effaced. At my appt today I was almost 3 cm and 75 effaced. Don't know if it matters, but I've been having BH since 26 weeks and they've been REALLY strong lately...

At 38 weeks 3 days with DS, I was not diliated or effaced at all. I had him 6 days later. When I walked into the hospital in labor I was only diliated to a 2 and between 70 and 80 percent effaced.

DD1 I was 2cm at 37w4d and stayed there until I went into labor on my EDD

DD2 I was 2cm at 35wks, 3cm at 36wks and 4cm at 37wks where I stayed until I went into labor at 39w4d

With DS I was 2cm at 35w4d and stayed there until I went into labor at 38w6d.

I was 100 effaced by 36 wks with my twins but only a fingertip dilated. I stayed that way until my induction at 38w2d.

I think I was 50% effaced, and maybe 1cm dialated at my internal before my water broke, (so 38/39 weeks) and I never progressed past 3cm - hence the csection.
