20 week U/S scan on Wednesday! YAY!
I think my favorite season would be the fall/autumn. I look forward to Halloween and Thanksgiving. I like the holidays that we can get together and enjoy each other's company.
My due date is at the end of this week - finally! It seems it took forever to get here. I am guessing though, that LO will stay put for another week just because. I am SO ready to meet baby and really curious if I have a little boy or girl!

My favorite season is fall! I live in Houston so summers are very hot and humid and fall is just so nice and pleasant. Plus it's football season and fall festival season!

QOTW: With the official start of fall/autumn just around the corner, what is your favourite season, and why? Definitely fall. Beautiful leaves, warm days and cool nights, pumpkin and apple pies...what's not to love?
Updates/vents: I spent all last week being sick. Bad cold + migraine + sinus issues = sick, sick danuli. Hardly got any calcium 'cause I couldn't bear to eat any dairy, and then when the migraine kicked in I was too busy throwing up. I was so sick we had to cancel the mini-getaway I planned for our 18th wedding anniversary this past weekend.
I guess we can reschedule...
Over-40 parents...what we lack in vigor, we make up for with cunning.
My favourite season is Fall! I LOVE IT. Love the warm days and cool, crisp nights. Love the fall colours. Also love Thanksgiving. November is also our lucky month. Bought our house Nov 16, 2007, got married Nov 1, 2008, had DS#1 Nov 11, 2009 and are expecting DS#2 late Nov 2012.
Updates: Met with my OB last week. We agreed that a c/s is probably the best delivery route for me given my tailbone issues. Looks to be scheduled 7-10d before my official EDD (doc is going by my LMP and a 28d cycle- my cycle is about 25/26d) of Dec 2, although I have Nov 30. Anyway, it looks like we will be meeting this peanut on or about Nov 22. Oh and I think we have a name....This peanut will be named Ashton Gray...at least I'm 99% sure that will be his name! I think Ashton sounds very nice with Carter and Aston's middle name is my maiden name. Next appointment Oct 9th.
MMMM baking, pumpkin loaf, pumpkin pie, pumpkin muffins, applie pie...I could go on and on! Too bad I don't bake!
I hope your peanut comes a day or two early, or at least on time. It sucks waiting beyond your EDD. My first was 4d overdue.

QOTW: Just like the majority I love fall. DH and I do a drive to look at leaves and pack a picnic every year. I also love warm sweaters (I now have none that fit so I have to buy some) and warm apple cider.
Updates/vents: Second tri is treating me so much better than first. It is a good time and I finally am starting to look pregnant and not just chubby.
When I was younger (in school) I loved summer best, but as I've aged, I've grown to love fall more. I find spring too smelly (I live near some major farming communities and the smell of manuare in the spring is just gross) and too muddy. Winter is just too damn cold, but I do love HOCKEY SEASON! I'm Canadian, so that's pretty much in your blood!
That picnic sounds like a great way to spend some quality time together. Glad to hear 2nd tri is being kinder to you than first tri was. The same was true for me too. Time is marching right along!

One non bump vent. Very depressed for the NHL lockout I always get so geeked this time of year as the players are coming back to town and the season about to start.

I had my second Beta this morning - so waiting for the results this afternoon - FX news is good and I can schedule my ultrasound!
Fall is my favorite season. We are big College Football fans and have ppl over every week. I also love the crisp air, apples, warmer clothing and Thanksgiving. This fall will be extra special as we'll be sharing our news in November - not sure if we can hold off until Thanksgiving though!

Would have to say my favorite season is Fall as well. I love anything Pumpkin---pumpkin cheesecake, pumpkin bread, pumpkin muffins, pumpkin ravioli----these typically hard to find outside of Fall. I also love the colors of fall, the leaves changing colors, the cooler (but not yet cold) temps, and Thanksgiving! It is my FAVORITE holiday. Made even more special this year since we will have LO here for it!
Fall is followed up with a very close second of winter. We love to ski and winter is the time for that!
Updates/vents:
Progressing along----30 weeks now. Almost 31. Feeling a TON of movement which is very exciting. Love seeing the kicks and rolls on the outside as much as I do feeling them on the inside! Pretty much being seen by a doctor every week at this point between GD visits, High risk appointments, and regular OB appointments. DH and I have our hospital tour on Thursday. Everything is seeming very real now! Getting excited and a little impatient to meet this little one!
School opening has brought returned stress to my life. Pregnancy seems to exacerbate that stress. Trying to work out moving parent conferences around to accommodate my maternity leave, juggling new Teacher Eval requirements and an entirely new curriculum to go with it has made leaving outline of plans for 12 week maternity leave a little stressful.
I am so sad about the lockout.

QOTW:
I love both "in between" seasons: Autumn and Spring. I love the freshness of Spring as it comes through the bitter winter chill, not to mention the colors of... everything. And along the lines of colors, Autumn and the changing of the leaves. Plus the nice cool down left after a hot summer where you can comfortably walk around in jeans and a t-shirt.
Oh and I agree with many of the previous posts about baking. I love pumpkin flavored anything!

Squirmy kid continues to move around a lot, occasionally wondering if there might be more room on the sides (Ow! Muscles don't stretch that way.)
Feeling like a overfilled beach ball, but less light.
We're into our last two busy weeks before October heralds the month of final baby/home prep, and hopefully a bit more relaxation.

I am kind of happy about the lockout. I am heavily involved with the Kitchener Rangers hockey club. We have a bunch of guys on our roster that could be playing in the NHL or AHL if there was hockey (Ryan Murphy, 1st rd CAR; Radek Faksa, 1st rd DAL; Tobias Reider, 2nd rd EDM; John Gibson 2nd rd ANH; Matt Puempel, 1st rd OTT). Because of the lockout, there guys will be here at least for the first half, which is great news for my team! NHL hockey will likely start in December, just before the Winter Classic because the league will not want to give up all that revenue. I am a little disappointed for the LA Kings, nothing like having to put off your banner raising because everyone is so DAMN greedy.
GL on your beta draw! I hope you get to see your peanut on u/s very soon. Oh and welcome to the checkin!
Ah...I love everything pumpkin too. Never had pumpkin ravioli though...will have to keep an eye out. Sorry you are stressed about school. Hang in there, baby will be here in a few short months!

When I lived in MN it was definitely summer. Here in Texas, it's a tie between spring and fall. I love fall because it cools off here (finally), and all of the holidays are approaching. I like spring because of all the new things growing, like bluebonnets and other spring wildflowers.

Updates/vents:
Just got diagnosed with gestational diabetes. And only after 3 days of watching my blood sugar levels, they've already put me on insulin 4x a day. My levels are out of control. I'm very frustrated.
I haven't updated in a few weeks because of how busy work is right now and then I update and whine. Sorry about that!

The crisp, cool air, low humidity, leaves changing, cider, pumpkin spiced latte, the colors.......I could go on and on. I'm a fall baby (Oct) too so that might have something to do with it.
Updates/vents: I'm week 11 now and my nausea has pretty much abated (thank you God!), although I still have bouts of exhaustion. I did good on Saturday, totally revved up and ready to rock and roll! Cleaned my whole house, THOROUGHLY- it had fallen into a complete disarray. So, it was a great feeling to have everything sparkling, light some fall candles and watch a movie with my husband that nite w/out feeling like I was neglecting anything. Today, different story- I was so tired, I took TWO naps! I think I had an activity hangover- haha!
QOTW: well, it is early spring here, so that may change my opinion, but I love spring. I love the smell of it, the flowers, the promise in the warm air, the sprouting things. The trees are starting to bloom now, the birds are coming back, and I feel incredible.
Updates: the downside to spring is weeding, and my back is so sore (eek, already?!) that I have to sit and watch the weeds take over. I feel like a creaky old lady already!

Favorite season would be Fall - Love the change in the weather - the air feels crisp and cooler - love jeans and sweatshirt weather. Football season starts, the leaves change, have fires in the fire pit at night.
Updates/vents: Completed our Childbirth Express class last night, have a Dr appt tonight followed by our BF class and then we are done with classes.
The nursery should be completed by Sunday so DH is going to take off work and put together all the furniture and get it in the room so I can decorate and go through the 8 bins of hand me down clothes and shoes we were Very Generously given by SIL and a close family friend.
Had my side of the family's baby shower on Sunday, was Amazing, such great family and friends! Best gifts were the gorgeous crotcheted baby blanket from my sister and my Dad's bronzed baby shoes (he passed away 2 years ago this Jan) from my Mom. Both brought tears to my eyes at how special and thoughtful they were.
Stacey- I'm insulin dependant GD, too.
Benoit- I really like Ashton Gray. It sounds great with Carter.
I love the fall as well. Late summer, early fall is my favorite time of year. I just don't like that it turns into winter.
I also really enjoy summer! The long days, cooking out, being outside, all that stuff. And spring is great, too! Let's just say I don't like winter. 
I really don't have any updates. I'm starting to feel a bit "weighted" in the front. I haven't truely popped yet, but there's definately a heaviness when I bend over. I am DYING to feel some real movement though. OB appointment on the 28th.
