Happy Birthday, Eli! 33 week delivery. Prayers, please.

Hey ladies. I had my sweet little boy, Eli, today at 33 weeks and 3 days. Everything happened so fast. We were 4 hours from home in my hometown to attend a baby shower my sister was throwing for us. My water broke last night around 2 and contractions started soon after. They tried to stop it, but little Eli had other plans. Everything went so fast. This morning I was barely dialated 2 cm. After a particular painful set of contractions they checked me around 11:30 and I was at 10 cm. No time for an epidural. Everything was fine though, I just did what they told me to do. No tearing or stitches, very blessed. Eli was born at 11:50, 4 lbs 10 oz and 17 inches long. We are in one of the best women's and children's hospitals in the nation. God definitely had a plan for our little one. He is in the nicu, but he is looking great. Breathing on his own. Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers. All of you have been so great and supportive through pregnancy, thank you.

Congrats! Praying for your little boy! DD2 was born at 33w6d after pPROM so I know what you're going through. Your boy's a great size and it's a great start that he's breathing on his own. Congrats again!
