Men don't get it.

I've never written anything negative about hubby on here but my God he sure pisses me off this morning. I had been up with baby girl for two hours when he rolled out of bed . I said man I hope after she eats she will go back to sleep so I can take a nap. He said oh it must be nice. Taken back in disbelief I gave him one more chance to fix what he just said. I said excuse me what do you mean it must be nice. He said you get to nap every morning and all day with her, you can nap whenever you want. You fell asleep before me how can possibly still be tired
Oh no you didn't.
Hello I've been awake for 2 or more hours while you sleep like a baby.
First off this baby doesn't sleep during the day and If she does it's because it took me over an hour to get her to fall asleep in which she will only stay down 45 min anyways.
Second screw you. Maybe THREE times I have gotten him up to help during the night since she has been born. That means EVERY feeding EVERY 5 hour scream fest, I was awake while he got his beauty rest.

This house is clean. He gets breakfast lunch and dinner made for him EVERY day. I'm lucky if I get to shower.

I am so aggravated and as I write this I have got laundry going, dishwasher going, I'm folding laundry while this baby is crying because she isnt being held.
Get to lay around and nap whenever I want???? Puh lease.
Next time he comes home and asks what did I do all day I might jump out of the window lol

  • My DH would be in the hospital if that was the case. We negotiate every night on who is going to do what feeding. Even though I am home with DS all day I still work full time from home. Thank god he gets it.

If I was you I would make a plan to leave the house for a few hours on the weekend and leave him with the baby. Nothing cures that like trial by fire.

  • One of my favorite episodes of everybody loves Raymond one day ray comes home from work and the house is a total wreck, dishes and laundry everywhere, toys strewn all over the house, kids running around screaming etc., just total chaos. Ray asks what in the world is going on?! And Debra says, remember yesterday when you asked me what I do all day? Well today, I didn't do it.

    Maybe you should try that!

That is frustrating!  I am so tired of people telling me i need to nap when she naps.  I don't think people believe me, but i swear i CANNOT nap.  I have no idea why, but i try every relaxation technique i can think of, but naps elude me.  It is so frsutrating when you have a baby and can't nap.  Whatever her longest stretch of sleep ends up being is the amount of sleep i get per day.  Tongue Tied

I can't nap either. Thank God Rob sleeps pretty well at night!
